1.	Completed Mauritania Visa Application
	Complete Mauritania Visa Application Online - website will open in a new window (at the bottom of the page click CLICK CONTINUE WITH ONLINE APPLICATION). As of January 1st, 2009, all visa applicants will be required to fill out on-line the Uzbekistan Visa Application Form. The information that you enter is not submitted electronically. It is only used to generate the printed form and your request number. After completing the application form online, please print it. Please do not forget to sign and date your application. Note:You must use Internet Explorer and Microsoft Windows OS to complete online application. If you use MAC or any other browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox, Netscape), it may not work properly!
2.	Valid U.S./Non-US Passport
	You have to MAIL us your current valid and signed US/non-us passport. Passport should be valid at least SIX (6) months after your intended arrival to Mauritania. Also, you should make sure you have at least ONE completely blank page for visas in your passport. Amendment pages (pages 22, 23 and 24) do not count. If your passport is about to expire or needs more pages, please obtain new, renew or add pages to Your passport.

3.	FOUR Passport-Style Photographs
	They must be 2x2 inches in size. We always recommend using a professional photographer to avoid delays. You can choose to submit digitized photos to us via email: orders@travelvisapro.com (in subject line put travelers first and last names). Additional $20 Photo Printing FEE will be added to your request. NOTE: Photos must be high resolution, clear, and provide proper contrast and white background for it to be accepted by the consulate.

4.	A Copy of Yellow Fever Vaccination
	You are required to submit copy/original certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination.

5.	A Copy of Roundtrip ticket/itinerary
	It must contain the name of passenger. it can be an electronic ticket. If you don't have one, we will be glad to provide you one. Additional $15 Reservation FEE will be added to your request

6.	Proof of Hotel Reservation(s)
	You must provide a copy of your hotel reservations confirming your stay in Mauritania. If you are going to visit friends or family, you have to provide a letter from your Host stating their name(s) and address(es) in Mauritania.

7.	Proof of Financial Ability
	You must provide a copy of a recent bank statement or a letter from your bank verifying you have sufficient funds to support yourself. Bank statment must contain your name and address. You can cover-up the account number if you do not want to share it with the consulate

8.	Business Letter (for business visas)
	Please provide a business letter, which includes: (Sample Business Letter) The name of a reference/visiting firm in Mauritania. Detailed explanation of the nature of business to be performed as well as duration of stay. Company guarantee of financial responsibility for all travel expenses incurred by you. The letter must be on company letterhead. The letter must specify the visa validity and number of entries, the applicant is asking for.

9.	Non-US Passport Holders (proof of your legal status in the USA)
	Please provide a proof of your legal status in the USA (i.e. copy of your green card (front and back), valid visa, I-20, IAP-66, etc.)

VISA APPROVAL WARNING: Effective January 1st, 2009 all visa applications must be approved by the Mauritanian Government in capital Nouakchott. Currently approval processs takes from TWO (2) to EIGHT (8) weeks . For urgent service it may be helpful to have your sponsor in Mauritania apply for visa approval at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nouakchott.

VISA VALIDITY: Usually, business or tourist visa is valid up to three (3) months from the issue date. However, you can stay only up to 30 days at a time in Mauritania. If you need to stay longer, you can renew visa while you are in Mauritania. Please contact local immigration authorities. Multiple Entry visas are available upon request.
