Does the Brazil visa application have to be done online? Is there one I can fill out by hand?
The Consulate requires all applicants to fill out their application through their online website. If you are having trouble filling it out, we do offer a concierge service to fill out the online application for you at an additional fee. Please feel free to call us to find out more.
What documents do I need to upload into the Brazil visa online application?
If possible, you should try and upload everything you are sending to Travel Visa Pro. At the very least, you MUST upload your passport photo, you will not be able to complete the application to print it if you do not.
On the application, what do I chose under ‘how the exhibition of the document will be made’?
In the drop down box, choose ‘Third Party’ and type ‘Travel Visa Pro’ in the box to the right.
On the application, what do I put under ‘Data of Legal Representation’?
Check the box next ‘Not Informed’.

Gather the documents listed on our site and be sure to include a NOTARIZED copy of the Declaration of Non-citizenship form filled out by the Brazilian parent.
My driver’s license was issued in another state, what else can I use as proof of residence?

Do I have to provide an itinerary in order to get a Brazil visa?
Yes. The Brazilian consulate will not issue a visa unless you provide proof that you are entering and leaving within 90 days. It does not need to be a purchased flight, but simply a reservation you have put on hold. They will also accept itineraries showing your entry and exit from South America (i.e. you do not have to show your are specifically entering Brazil) as long as the trip does not last longer than 90 days.
Can I get a Brazil visa on arrival?
No, the visa must be issued before you travel. The airlines are not permitted to let you board a plane to Brazil if you do not have a visa. If they do, you will be heavily fined and deported upon your arrival in Brazil.
Can I use my business visa as a tourist to visit Brazil?
Yes, it is possible to tour the country with a business visa, you do not need a separate tourist visa.
