Vietnam Visa Application
Vietnam has a variety of visa options accessible to US citizens, which are available for online applications, appointments in person, and submissions by mail. As a country friendly to long-term visitors, Vietnam allows Americans to stay for up to 90 days on a tourist visa, and makes it easy to extend once in the country. However, prior to departure, travelers should be aware of the different requirements of the Vietnam visa application.
Travel Visa Pro has several possibilities for obtaining visas to Vietnam:
- Complete a visa application online
- Download a visa application form and submit to the nearest TVP office by mail, along with your valid US Passport and a prepaid return label.
- Bring the visa application form in person to a Travel Visa Pro office.
- Obtain a visa on arrival by getting pre-approved.
In addition to these options, there are two different types of visas that can be attached in a US Passport. If you’re planning to visit Laos by land following your business in Vietnam, you should request that a visa sticker be affixed to your passport instead of a loose-leaf one; Lao immigration requires proof that travelers have departed Vietnam, and only the former is acceptable. You may be turned away if you don’t have the right physical type of visa in your passport, so plan ahead if you’re considering traveling to Laos.
