All U.S. travelers to London must have a valid U.S. passport, as this is the only acceptable travel document. You must ensure that your passport meets the following requirements:
- It must be valid for the entirety of your stay in the UK. For example, if you want to stay for 60 days, your passport should have more than 60 days of validity left. Also, note that it must have at least 6 months of validity if you plan on traveling to another country after the UK instead of heading home.
- It must be in good condition, i.e., not damaged or altered,
- It must have at least one blank page for stamps, and
- It must be in your possession. You cannot use a passport that has been reported stolen or lost.

Can U.S. Citizens Travel to London?

- Carry supporting documents for your stay. Examples include accommodation bookings, return or onward tickets, proof of sufficient funds, etc.
